Performer Profile: Donny Ziegelbein, aka, Donny Z

A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Donny Z's first performance in Vail was in 1976 and he has been performing in the area off and on since then. He moved back to the Valley from Texas in 2007 and began performing at the King's Club regularly.

"The King's Club is my favorite location to perform, perhaps in my whole career" said Donny. "There are no televisions, no distractions - it's all about the entertainment." 

With an "acoustic, classic rock" repertoire and style, Donny’s musical influences range from The Beatles and the Eagles to James Taylor and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Beyond classic cover songs, Donny is also a songwriter and anticipates releasing a CD of his original music later this year.

You can catch Donny performing at the King's Club on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. throughout the winter season.
