Vail Mountain Tours

This is a great way to familiarize yourself with Vail Mountain, improve your skiing, ski the best conditions, meet other ski enthusiasts and NO WAITING IN LINE!

Cross Country Skiing at the Vail Nordic Center

A great way to enjoy the mountains for their beauty and solitude. First timers can get familiar with the sport at one of the local track systems and for the more experienced skier, peaceful backcountry trips are limitless.

Come explore the Vail Valley on a peaceful hike through the Rocky Mountain wilderness. Whether you are curious and unaccustomed to hiking through the snow or a backcountry snowshoe fanatic, our scenic trails, quality equipment and professional guides are waiting to be used by you.

Snowshoe Adventure

	Time:		9:30am - 12:30pm (afternoon tours can be arranged upon request and based on availability of a guide)
	Meeting Spot:		Sonnenalp Lobby at 9:30am (wear layers, sturdy shoes, hat, gloves and eye protection)
	Ability:		All
	Rate:		$25 per person for Sonnenalp leisure travelers. $55 for group or off property guests.
	Includes:		Guide, transportation, snowshoes, poles, leg gaiters, water bottle and snack
	Minimum:		2 people

Considerations

• Private tours (with a gourmet picnic) can be arranged for all tours.
• Minimum age of 13 required to participate in Sonnenalp guided adventures.
• If 6 or more skiers sign-up, two instructors will be assigned to the Vail Mountain and the Beaver Creek Ski Tours.
• Snowboarders can join all alpine ski tours.

Please register with the Concierge Desk at (970) 479-5429 or concierge@sonnenalp.com by 8 p.m. the evening before your desired ski or snowshoe tour! Cancellations after 8 p.m. will be charged the full tour amount.
