Golfer Information

Attire

All players and spectators must be appropriately attired on the golf course and practice range at all times.

MEN must wear a shirt with a collar at all times. T-shirts, short shorts, swim, tennis, running attire and any type of denim are not considered appropriate attire for golf.

LADIES are not required to wear a collared shirt but may not wear short shorts, swim, tennis, running attire, tank tops, halter tops, midriffs and any type of denim.

Pace of Play

The desired pace of play is four hours and fifteen minutes (4:15). Players will be informed that they are out of position if there is an open hole in front of them and they are behind the desired 4:15 pace.

The Sonnenalp Golf Club is a championship, 7,100-yard links-style course set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. Thanks to its Edwards location—just minutes from Vail Village—the course enjoys one of the longest golf seasons in the Vail Valley, often stretching from April through late October.

Preferred Tee Times for Hotel Guests

Guests of the Sonnenalp Hotel enjoy exclusive access to preferred tee times at the club, making it easy to plan your round during peak summer days. Advance booking is recommended, and staff are happy to help coordinate your tee times before or during your stay.

The Sonnenalp Club is perfectly located in the sun drenched valley of Edwards, 16 miles west of Vail Village. This down valley location gives our members and guests an extended playing season stretching from early April to late October.
