Vail’s snowmaking is the best in North America. During summer 2020, Vail Mountain began construction on the first phase of a multi-year snowmaking expansion project that now delivers the most legendary early season experience.
THANKSGIVING AT THE SONNENALP
The Sonnenalp Hotel is one of the best resorts in Colorado, and our Thanksgiving dinner is always extravagant.
The bountiful buffet features traditional Thanksgiving fare in addition to crab claws, a carving station, seafood, salads and more. If you decide to spend the night, you can also take advantage of the indoor/outdoor heated pool and whirlpools, a spa treatment, and all sorts of other outdoor activities.

VAIL FARMERS’ MARKET AND ART SHOW
SUNDAYS JUNE - OCTOBER
The Vail Farmers Market started with a few tents and now has grown to over 140 tents for 16 Sundays of the summer. Enjoy strolling down East Meadow Drive in Vail while tasting treats from Colorado. Parking for the Market is at the Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking. The Market begins June 20 and goes through first weekend in October.

The Moe’s Original Bar B Que Hot Summer Nights is an annual FREE concert series hosted every Tuesday evening throughout the summer at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. Gates open at 5:30, concert begins at 6:30. Bring a picnic for the lawn or enjoy our top of the line concessions at the iconic open air in beautiful Vail, CO.
